Terms of Use

Last updated 20 July 2026. Plain English on purpose - short version: be honest, don't misuse the site, and race results stay owned by whoever ran the race.

What Sailmesh is

Sailmesh helps sailors discover races, view results, and organise crews. It is operated from Australia. By using it you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy.

Results data

Race results, entry lists and rating data shown on Sailmesh are collected from publicly published sources (club results systems, rating authorities). They belong to the clubs and organising authorities that published them. We display them verbatim and don't guarantee accuracy - the official results are always the club's own publication. If you run a club and want something corrected or removed, contact us and we'll act promptly.

Your account and content

Keep your account details accurate. Only claim a sailing identity or boat that is genuinely yours - false claims may be removed and accounts suspended. Content you post (crew availability, boat details, feedback) stays yours; you give us permission to display it to make the service work.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at scale, misrepresent who you are, harass other users, or attempt to break or overload the service.

Paid features

Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing and billing terms are shown at purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

No warranty, limited liability

Sailmesh is provided as-is. Race schedules, forecasts and results can be wrong or stale - always confirm with the club before you go sailing. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged in the app. Questions or takedown requests: use Send feedback in the account menu.
